Responsibilities and limitations for using Host Studio and this website.

Scope and application licence

These notices concern Host Studio and its product and support pages on mokidoapp.ca. “Developer” refers to the application provider identified in Host Studio’s App Store listing. Contact: support@mokidoapp.ca.

The licence supplied with your App Store download governs use of the application. Where no custom licence is supplied, Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement applies. This page supplements that licence with website notices and operational guidance; it does not replace it. Mandatory law and the applicable app licence take precedence over conflicting wording here.

Authorized access only

Use Host Studio only with systems, accounts, networks, and data you are authorized to access. Obtain permission from the system owner and comply with your organization’s security policies and applicable laws. The app does not grant access rights, host credentials, or a licence to third-party software. Do not use it to bypass access controls, disrupt systems, or access or transfer data without permission.

Your host and your operations

You are responsible for selecting the correct host, account, terminal model, connection settings, commands, and transfer destinations. Host commands and file transfers can change or delete records, overwrite files, trigger transactions, or interrupt services. Check the active host and session before executing an action. Maintain appropriate backups and recovery procedures, and test unfamiliar workflows in a non-production environment.

The developer does not operate your mainframe or supervise your sessions. Demo screens illustrate the interface and do not establish compatibility, performance, or successful execution on your host.

Security and sensitive information

Protect your devices, credentials, and network access. Use the connection and certificate settings required by your administrator, and verify certificate warnings before continuing. TLS options do not, by themselves, guarantee that an entire workflow is secure or meets your organization’s compliance requirements.

Do not send passwords, private keys, or confidential host data to support. Redact screenshots and logs before sharing them. This page is not a privacy policy and does not make representations about app data collection or retention; consult the product’s applicable privacy disclosures.

Compatibility and availability

Host implementations, network conditions, operating systems, and third-party services can affect behaviour. Feature availability may differ by platform, app version, and host configuration. Unless separately agreed in writing, support does not include a guaranteed response time, uptime commitment, or service-level agreement. Website descriptions and screenshots are informational and may show demo configurations.

Warranty and liability

Subject to mandatory law and the applicable app licence, the website and its informational materials are provided as available, without a promise that they will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for every environment. Application warranties and liability limits are governed by the applicable app licence.

To the extent legally permitted, the developer is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from reliance on these website materials, including lost business, interrupted operations, or lost data. This notice does not excuse fraud, wilful misconduct, or any liability that applicable law prohibits limiting.

Consumer rights and purchases

Nothing on this page removes statutory consumer rights, mandatory warranties, or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded. App Store purchases, cancellations, and refund requests are subject to the applicable Apple terms and consumer law. No blanket “no refunds” rule is imposed by this page. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions apply only to the extent permitted by law.

Third-party names and intellectual property

Host Studio’s software, branding, and website materials remain subject to their respective owners’ intellectual property rights. Access to this website does not grant permission to redistribute the app or reuse its branding beyond rights provided by law or a licence. Apple, iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Vision Pro are trademarks of Apple Inc. IBM and other third-party names belong to their respective owners. References to platforms, protocols, or compatibility do not imply sponsorship, certification, or endorsement.

Updates and contact

These notices may be revised as the product and website change. The revision date identifies the current page; revisions do not retroactively remove accrued rights. Any change requiring consent must follow the applicable agreement and law. For questions about these notices, contact support@mokidoapp.ca.

Automation and host output

Automation, native UI conversion, scanning, and virtual printing can send commands, alter host fields, or create copies of host data. Verify parsed actions and scanned values before use, test macros outside production, and protect exported spool reports and PDFs according to your organization’s data-handling requirements.
