Information you create
Mokido stores information you choose to enter, including task titles, notes, projects, tags, contexts, dates, recurrence, dependencies, duration and energy estimates, completion history, and planning metadata. This information is used only to provide task management, recommendations, planning, reminders, search, and synchronization.
Task data is stored locally on your devices. When you enable iCloud synchronization, it is also stored in your private iCloud account through Apple CloudKit so it can remain available across your devices. Mokido cannot read your iCloud data outside the app.
Calendar
If you grant calendar access, Mokido reads event times and titles to identify available time and display calendar events beside tasks. Mokido does not create, edit, or delete calendar events. Calendar access is optional and can be withdrawn in system Settings.
Location
If you choose to attach a location to a task reminder, Mokido may store the location name and coordinates with that task. This information is used only to provide the requested reminder and may synchronize through your private iCloud account. Mokido does not continuously track your location. Location access is optional and can be withdrawn in system Settings.
Notifications, Siri, and dictation
Notifications are local and scheduled only for reminders and summaries you enable. Siri, Shortcuts, App Intents, and dictation are processed using Apple system services and are subject to Apple’s privacy terms. Mokido does not retain audio recordings.
Intelligence and analytics
The current version’s task interpretation, metadata suggestions, decomposition, planning, and recommendations run locally using deterministic logic. Mokido does not send task content to a remote AI provider.
The current version contains no advertising or tracking SDK. Its production analytics provider is disabled and does not transmit behavioral events or task text.
Purchases
Optional Mokido Pro purchases are processed by Apple through StoreKit. We do not receive your payment-card or bank details. Apple may provide the app with purchase and entitlement status so it can unlock purchased features.
Retention and deletion
Task information remains until you delete it. Deleted tasks may remain in Mokido’s trash for the configured retention period before permanent deletion. Data synchronized through iCloud is subject to Apple’s synchronization and retention behavior.
You can remove local app data by deleting tasks or the app. You can manage iCloud data and permissions through your Apple Account and system settings. For assistance with data that we control, contact support@mokidoapp.ca.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information or share task content for advertising or tracking. Apple processes information needed to provide iCloud, App Store purchases, Siri, dictation, maps, location, and other system services under Apple’s own terms.
Security
We use Apple platform security, app sandboxing, and private iCloud services to protect information. No storage or transmission system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Children
Mokido is a general productivity application and is not directed to children under the minimum age required by applicable law.
Changes
We may update this policy when Mokido’s features or data practices change. We will update the effective date and provide any notice required by law. A remote AI provider, analytics provider, advertising service, or new category of data collection will be disclosed before it is enabled in a released version.
